Hello I‘m Maria, 10 years from now I embarked on the adventure of becoming a real estate agent by the hand of who is next to me today, the skipper of this boat, Petri Laitinen. Getting to this profession has been a beautiful path that I continue travelling together with PILAR HOMES, name that I thank my mother for, the fundamental pillar of my family, and a good friend, who helped me shape the brand we represent today, and with which I want to become the pillar of many homes.
My professional career ran between hotels and events, between guests and tourist services, I have passed through different departments in different prestigious hotels around the world and I have invested my life in training and offering experiences to each of my guests.
My last transfer was unexpectedly to the Costa del Sol, I would never have imagined that it would end here, but that May 1, I will have it engraved in my memory, with all the feelings that still feel today when I enjoy the intense sea blue and the sky of this beautiful place, of the light even on grey days, the city heat and people, I still remember when my feet recognized the place where I want to spend each day, understanding why It is the preferred place for Finnish, English and many other foreigners who decide to spend here the heavy winter of their countries or to move their residence to here.
Next to the hotel where I was working in Los Boliches I found a restaurant that for some strange reason became part of my routine, my coffee before going to work in the afternoon or a glass of wine after leaving my morning shift, here was born the idea with which today is my partner, Petri Laitinen, sitting in that restaurant I would never have imagined that the real estate business would become my profession and even less that it would become my passion.
Being a real estate agent and consultant is not just about selling or renting apartments, it is about becoming an advisor before one of the most important decisions, buying your first home or investing your money to obtain benefits in the short or medium term, it is about create relationships with buyers and sellers to reach the best agreement and get good profits for both, and with the best guarantees, and also about each property sold becoming a new business opportunity, not only for the real estate agency, but also for the new owner.
